The STM32F7x2 family provides Cortex-M7 kernel performance (with floating point unit), operating at frequencies up to 216 MHz while achieving lower static power consumption (stop mode) similar to the STM32F427/429/437/439 family.
Performance: Thanks to stmicroelectronics ART acceleration technology, the CPU of the STM32F7x2 microcontroller runs at 216 MHz clock, achieves 1082 CoreMark / 462 DMIPS through flash execution, and can achieve zero wait execution. FPU units and DSP instructions expand the application field. The existence of L1 Cache (8 KB I-Cache + 8 KB D-Cache) allows the chip to use external memory without compromising performance.
Efficacy: The product line uses a 90 nm stmicroelectronics process and ART accelerator with dynamic power adjustment to achieve power consumption of 7 CoreMark/mW (under 1.8V voltage conditions) in run mode and when executed from Flash memory. In stop mode, the typical power consumption is 100 µA.
Integrated module:
Audio: Two dedicated audio PLLS, three half duplex I²S interfaces and a new serial audio interface (SAI) that supports Time Division multiplexing (TDM) mode.
Up to 21 communication interfaces (in addition to 4 UART, 4 USART interfaces up to 12.5 Mbit/s, up to 5 SPI interfaces up to 50 Mbit/s, 3 I²C interfaces with new optional digital filtering, One CAN, two SDIOs, and one USB 2.0 full speed device/host /OTG controller with on-chip PHY.
