AMD (NASDAQ: AMD) announced the completion of its acquisition of Xilinx (NASDAQ: AMD) in an all-stock transaction. The acquisition, announced on October 27, 2020, creates an industry leader in high-performance and adaptive computing with significantly increased scale and a leading portfolio of computing, graphics and adaptive SoC products.
